Celebrating the renovation of the center and the opening of the Research and Seminar Room, Renewable Energy Center, on Saturday morning, September 18, 2021, held a ceremony attended by the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Technical Education, Dr. Taher Ben Taher; Chairman of Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Dr. Mohammed Abdul- Malik; Director of European Union Programmes Office in Libya, Dr. Ali Bakeer; Councilman, Eng. Ismail el-Jero; the Chairman of the ICT Academy, Magdy al-Shaibani, and a group of individuals interested in this field. The ceremony was opened by the recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Director of Renewable Energy Center and a documentary on the establishment of the center and what has been achieved in this regard. After that, the attendees moved to the front entrance of the center to unveil the honor roll which includes the logos of the partner institutions supporting the center. Later, the attendees visited the Solar Energy Exhibition, which is the core of the training and research laboratory, and listened to a detailed explanation from the engineers of the center. Afterwards, the attendees headed to the opening of the Research and Seminar Room, in which a symposium on the activities of the different offices and administrations of the center was held. Advanced training laboratory project (presentation). At the end of the symposium, attendees were allowed to give their speeches. Later, those responsible for the maintenance and equipment were honored and donors were presented plaques of appreciation. There was a refreshment break at the end of the ceremony.
