19th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the Political Science Department at Misurata University

Under the sponsorship and organization of the Student Union of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, and in collaboration with the Political Science Department, a celebration was held on Wednesday morning to mark the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Political Science Department. The event took place in the Omar Al-Toumi Al-Shaibani Lecture Hall and witnessed a large attendance of guests, students, and department graduates, along with a distinguished group of faculty members from various departments of the faculty. The atmosphere reflected strong academic pride in the department’s journey.

The celebration program included a number of speeches highlighting the department’s achievements over the past years and its role in graduating qualified professionals who have contributed to serving the community and state institutions. Attendees expressed their pride in the academic path of the department, praising the efforts made to develop its educational and research programs.

As a gesture of appreciation, several faculty members, staff, teaching assistants, and collaborators were honored during the event in recognition of their exceptional contributions. A commemorative shield was also presented to the former head of the department in acknowledgment of his efforts in serving and developing the department.
